Nitro Thinner is used for:

Nitro Thinner is the right choice when a stronger solvent is needed compared with milder types such as White Spirit. It is used when the goal is:

• high solvency strength
• faster drying
• proper thinning of specific coating systems
• practical cleaning of tools and application equipment
• cleaning and degreasing of metallic surfaces before painting
• Spray coating

Because it is a stronger solvent, it should always be selected according to the coating system, the application, and the manufacturer’s instructions for the paint or varnish being used.

Add the appropriate amount of Nitro Thinner to the product to be thinned, always following the paint or varnish manufacturer’s instructions. Stir thoroughly until full homogenization is achieved.

For tool cleaning, immerse or rinse the tools with the thinner and wipe them with a clean cloth. Consumption depends on the type and viscosity of the product being thinned, the application method, and the final film requirements.

Before use on sensitive substrates such as certain plastics, testing on a small inconspicuous area is recommended.

Very good ventilation is required when used in enclosed spaces. Avoid smoking, flames, and sparks during application and until vapors have fully evaporated. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. For full safe-use instructions, always consult the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

The product is highly flammable, may cause drowsiness or dizziness, may cause skin irritation, presents an aspiration hazard if swallowed, and includes a reproductive hazard statement.
